The IE is a two-day program where you will be evaluated on your dive knowledge, skills and teaching presentation ability in the classroom, confined water and open water.

Professional PADI Instructor Examiners from PADI International or PADI Local Area Offices conduct the IE's. They will ensure objective evaluation and consistent evaluation criteria across all candidates. Every PADI Instructor undergoes identical, impartial evaluation to ensure consistent quality worldwide.

The IE consists of four parts. To get certified as a PADI Instructor, candidates must be successful in all four areas. If you are unsuccessful in one or two areas, then you have the possibility to attend another IE and complete only that area in which you have failed. The chances to pass this course are extremely high if you enroll being well prepared with knowledge development through self-study.
