Our Partner Center on Madeira, Manta Diving is located in Canico de Baixo, directly at the beach of the Galo Resort Hotels.
The Diving Center:
Manta Diving is managed by Gabi and Stefan Maier and is the only Center located in the Underwater Nature Reserve of Madeira. Your own diving equipment can easily be brought to the Center with the elevator and can be stored there. A separate wet room with freshwater showers is available for the divers.
Equipment:
Manta Diving is equipped with up-to-date rental gear, that is maintained and checked by skilled personnel on a regular basis. Complete sets of scuba gear is available for rent.
Education:
Manta Diving offers BARAKUDA/CMAS/DTSA and PADI dive courses from beginner up to assistant instructor. Small dive groups ensure a very high standard and individual training without any stress.
The House Reef:
Diving at the house reef is a real adventure. You can explore 4 different sites that can be accessed via 4 easy entries. The Atlantic fauna and flora and the warm ridges of the Gulf Stream provide a variety, which can almost be compared to tropical waters. Ideal for beginners, experienced divers and snorklers. Film and photo lovers will surely have a great time in this "healthy" underwater world. Caves and grottoes, large groupers, barracudas, trigger fish, parrot fish and with a little bit of luck also mantas, make most of the guests to come back. Further dives sites can be reached within 5-20 Minutes by boat.
Boat Diving:
Boat trips to further interesting diving sites are organized on a regular basis with their custom designed 2 x 75 PS aluminium speedboat.

Barakuda Club, our Partner Center in Tenerife, Spain, under the management of Heinz Scheffler, is located in Playa Paraiso, on the south west coast of Tenerife.
Location:
Playa Paraiso is a small urbanization with 4 large hotels. The diving school is located at the entrance of a large pool, all surrounded by palm trees and subtropical plants. This pool resort, called "Lago Paraiso", is ideal for families as well as for singles.
Dive Sites:
You can observe a large variety of fauna in a varied volcanic underwater landscape which is formed of 3 large lava stone reefs with overhangs, drop-offs, small caves, channels and sandy areas. The fauna includes sponges, large coloured anemones, moray eels, shoals of brace and reef perch, rays, barracudas and many other species. If you are lucky, you might see sharks, prickly mackerel and tuna.
Diving Operation:
Diving excursions are offered on a regular basis twice a day, excluding sundays. All diving excursions are guided by experienced diving instructors and dive guides, in groups of a maximum of 5 to 6 divers of similar level. On the relatively few days of bad weather, you are driven to diving areas at other sections of the coast (30 to 60 minutes drive).
Other Attractions:
A most extraordinary experience is snorkelling with whales along the coast. Excursions are offered weather depending. Tenerife is a tropical paradise, with excellent weather year round, plus a huge variety of scenery and terrain. The diving center will help you to reserve a rent-a-car to explore this beautiful island. Playa Paraiso is a paradise for Golfers.

Our partner in France is located on the world famous beach of St. Tropez. With it´s 7 Km length, it is certainly on of the most beautiful in Europe.
Location:
European Divers is located in a very nice and comfortable holiday village called the “Kon Tiki”. The village has direct access to the beach.
Dive Operation:
The diving center offers daily excursions in small groups. All trips leave by rib and are guided by experienced diving instructors and dive guides. The center offers professional instruction through PADI and CMAS, children courses from 8 upwards, Nitrox and Rebreather courses, Technical diving. The center is open from April through October.
Dive Sites:
Explore the spectacular coastline with Alex an his crew. There is a big diversity of dive sites ranging from colourful reefs, canyons, shallow rocky areas and drop offs covered with sponges and gorgonian fans and teaming with marine life. There are regular sightings of grouper, barracuda, congers, morays, octopus, nudibranchs, lobsters and precious red coral. With a bit of luck you might see dogfish, sunfish, electric rays, seahorses, etc. Most dive sites are suitable for beginners and experienced divers. There are about 20 naval and civilian wrecks in the area, including a submarine.

Gozo is the smaller and greener of the two Maltese islands. Here you will find a very special type of holiday atmosphere.
If you enjoy good dives and good food combined with a relaxing and private holiday, then Gozo is just the place. Our Partner Center in Gozo, Calypso Diving Center, is situated in Marsalforn, a little harbour town on the North coast of the island.
Diving Operation:
Half-day trips by jeep are the norm. Boat trips with large ribs are at extra cost and should be paid for on site. On Gozo advanced divers (PADI Advanced or equivalent) can also hire a car and do their own shore dives.
Fauna, Flora and Wrecks:
Divers can expect spectacular underwater landscapes with caves and grottos. The fauna and flora are rich, and whilst large fish are rare, there are many smaller fish, tubeworms, sponges, crayfish, moray eels and rays. There are also a few wreck dives. Even in the Winter months the water temperature doesn’t drop below 15ºCC and the clear water as well as the low tourist numbers are good reasons for also considering Gozo as a potential Winter destination.
Getting there:
Malta is reachable in 2-3 hours from most European larger cities. Transfer time by car and a ferry from Malta to Gozo is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Helicopter transfers taking only minutes are also an option.

Croatia’s coast can be considered as one of the most beautiful and interesting diving areas in the Mediterranean. Endless bays, islands, wrecks, coastal cliffs and national parks, together with the numerous cultural highlights, make this country a real diving treat.
Dive Center:
Our Partner Center in Croatia, Najada, based in Murter, a small island on the Dalmation coast, is run by Anna Nokela.
The small and personally managed Dive Center is situated directly on the beach front in the centre of Murter. With many years of experience in both the local diving industry and with international clientele, the team can assure divers very high standards.
Diving Operation:
The dive center offers half-day trips with two speed boats. The dive sites around Murter can be reached in 10-40 minutes. Your diving holiday highlight is of course a visit to the , which the dive boats go to once or twice a week.
Liveaboard Diving Safaris:
One week diving safaris are offered on the comfortable boat Konkordia. The final destination is the Vis National Park, near Split. Split is also where divers disembark from their unforgettable days on this well-accommodated boat.
Getting there:
Zadar or Split airport can be reached in 2 –3 hours from most European major cities. Transfers by car take between 1/2 to 1.5 hours. From Europe one can also drive to Murter. Depending on which country you start from, the journey takes about 5-18 hours.

The Seychelles, a group of about 115 islands which lie 1600 km (990 miles) off the coast of east Africa, are considered to be the most beautiful islands in the world. The islands are predominately granite islands and due to oceanic isolation have managed to preserve a large number of unique species. The warm waters, abundant fish, colourful corals, high standards and friendly people draw many year after year to this top dive travel destination.
Angel Fish Dive Center, our partner in the Seychelles is located on Mahé, one of the three central islands. Aside from palm-fringed beaches and superb snorkeling and diving, there´s also plenty of forest wilderness with an abundance of wildlife.
Location:
Angel Fish Dive Center is located in the brand new Angel Fish Yacht Charter base at the waterfront between the airport and Victoria. The center offers free hotel pick up service.
Dive Operation:
All trips leave by catamaran directly from an easy access jetty. Complete sets of brand new scuba gear is available for rent. Angel Fish offers a full range of high quality services, diving excursions, full day trips and diving cruises around Mahé, La Digue and Praslin Island, PADI diving courses and snorkeling trips. All dives are guided by multilingual dive guides and instructors. The groups are kept very small to enjoy the tranquility of the unspoiled underwater scenery. Crowded dive spots are unknown in the Seychelles. Diving is possible all year round, with the best diving conditions being in March to May and September to November when seas are calmest, the visibility can be over 30 meters and water temperatures reach 29´C. At this time more remote sites from Mahé can be accessed.
Dive Sites:
While the outlying islands are coral atolls the impressive granite underwater formations around the "Inner Islands" made Mahé and Praslin famous all over the world. The dive sites vary in depth from 8 to 30 meters and provide conditions for divers of all abilities. The waters are home to more than 150 fish species and over 100 species of coral, and visibility enables perfect underwater photography conditions. The Southeast Trade Winds bring colder, nutrient-rich waters in July and August, making access to the offshore sites difficult and visibility will be reduced by plankton. These conditions encourage the appearance of whale sharks, mantas and giant stingrays.

Diving Operation:
Sea Explorers, operating many dive centers in the Visayas, offer the world´s unique Island Hopping experience. You dive at many Sea Explorers dive centers and also in between on the way from a dive center to the next one. Whenever possible, the transfers in between the destinations are done with their own diving boat, giving you the unique opportunity to discover new dive spots on the way to the next destination.

The Instructor Development Courses (PADI IDC) and Examinations (PADI IE) are usually held in February, May, August and November. All centers offer PADI dive courses from beginner up to divemaster.
