PADI IDC/IE COURSES

Sinai Divers is located at the beach of the Hilton Hotel in Dahab. With a friendly atmosphere in idyllic surroundings it’s the perfect environment for Instructor Training.

The practical training sessions take place in the pool and from shore. All diving during the course is with Nitrox.

Our classrooms are fully equipped with the latest teaching aids. The use of a Laptop and the Digital Instructor Manual is recommended. The traditional paper version is also available if required.

Before starting your IDC you should already be familiar with the general theoretical and practical principles of diving i.e. all Divemaster theory exams, the Encyclopaedia of Recreational Diving and the Knowledge Review Workbook.

Please note that the Knowledge Reviews from the Candidate Workbook must be completed and handed in on the first day of the course.

On arrival in Dahab you will be introduced to the Diving Center Staff, the IDC Staff Instructors and to our Course Director Nancy Abd El Wahab. The IDC Staff work exclusively with the Instructor Candidates and are available all day to answer your questions.

We provide professional Instructor Training to the highest Standards; in return we expect a serious attitude from you, the candidate. Remember Instructor Training is hard work but also a lot of fun!

Pre-requirements
Age: 18
Level: PADI Dive Master or equivalent from another organization
Number of dives: minimum 100 better 150 plus

PADI Instructor Candidate Workbook with the original decal.

Aquatic Cue Cards (1998 or later versions)
Diving medical (not older than a year)

All your diving certifications
EFR certification or equivalent valid for 2 years (CPR must be included)
