The Sinai Divers Backpackers Dive Center is located in Masbat in the Center of Dahab Bay. Small, comfortable, and reasonably priced hotels, campsites, restaurants, and souvenir shops are in the near vicinity. The diving Center offers diving at its best at good, reasonable prices. It is run with a team spirit, so you might have to lend a hand with packing and stacking dive gear, boxes, etc.
The Center facilities include the reception with an equipment counter and a sitting area, filling station, workshop, showers/WC, rinsing pool, and lockers for the guest equipment. The Sinai Divers team at the counter will welcome you and provide you with information on the daily diving excursions and the diving courses. They also help you with general questions about your vacation in Dahab.
Located on the 1. floor of the Center is the rooftop terrace and the air-conditioned classroom and the marine biology station of RSEC.
The rooftop terrace offers a spectacular view over the Bay of Masbat and the Gulf of Aqaba with the mountain range of Saudi Arabia in the far distance. Equipped with sunbeds, shades, and a comfortable seating area, it is the ideal place for dive briefings, hanging out with fellow divers, and of course, relaxing between and after your dives in authentic Dahab style.
Backpackers is entirely equipped with Scubapro regulators, Scubapro and Mares BCD’s, 12 ltr. aluminum tanks for air and Nitrox, dive computers, and 5 mm neoprene wetsuits. Bauer compressors and a Nitrox membrane system produce Nitrox mixes up to 32%.
The guest equipment area includes individual lockers and a lockable dry room where you can store your personal equipment safely. The showers are close by to this area. There are two rinsing pools. One is separated especially for your regulators and cameras, and another one for the rest of your gear.
The little integrated shop offers useful diving accessories, typical diver fashion, and a small selection of spare parts you may need.
The Sinai Divers Backpackers team can help you find the most suitable accommodation according to your budget and preference. Below you find a small selection of hotels and guesthouses, all in easy walking distance to our dive school. More prominent Hotels like “Swiss Inn” and “Le Meridien” are a 5 – 10 minute taxi drive away from our Dive Center.
Dahab also offers a wide selection of holiday houses, and apartments spread all over the town.
DAHAB COACH HOUSE
The Dahab Coach House lies in an area surrounded by date palms and is only a few steps from the sea. Its perfect location is close to the beachfront, with its atmospheric restaurants, cafés, bazaars and beautiful snorkelling sites.
The guesthouse has seven individually decorated rooms with a hint of Arabic décor. Facilities include a courtyard, garden, lounge and kitchen.

SINDBAD CAMP
The Sindbad Camp is located 100 meters north of the Lighthouse reef, directly at the seaside.
