The first open water dives will take place in our training pool. The 2 m deep pool is perfect for the training dives. The open water dives will take place on our house reef or in one of the protected bays nearby in case of bad weather conditions. Air-conditioned class rooms are equipped with the latest educational materials.
Safety and fun in diving depend considerably on the equipment used. Therefore we equip our students with comfortable wet suits, Scubapro regulators and stabilizing jackets and other high quality diving equipment .
The wide range of diving courses include: diving for kids, introductory dives, all training programs from beginner up to Divemaster level.
To allow you a first impression of diving, we offer introductory dives at the pool several times a week. For those who are interested in learning to dive we offer professional courses according to SSI, International Aquanautic Club (i.a.c.) and PADI guidelines. These courses last four days and are conducted in small groups with a maximum of 6 students.
The minimum age to participate in the Junior Scuba Diver or the Junior Open Water Diver course is 10. At the age of 15, this certification can be exchanged for the Open Water Diver certification.
Are you an Advanced Diver ,12 years of age and you have done at least 10 dives already ? In that case you are able to participate in a Nitrox course.
With Enriched Air/Nitrox you can dive more safely and for longer (subject to certain limits, depending one the Nitrox mix ), since your body absorbs less nitrogen than when diving with air. Enriched Air/Nitrox allows for shorter surface intervals between two subsequent dives as well. You will learn the use of the special Nitrox tables, and how to determine the oxygen content of the tank.
The course takes a 1/2 day and may be combined with a guided full day diving.
The courses are planned in a way that the theory and practical instructions (6 dives) alternate to make the courses more interesting. After passing the exam, the diving students receive an internationally recognised certificate (SSI/ i.a.c. /PADI Open Water Diver).
For those who only wish to try out diving in the wonderful underwater world of the Red Sea, we also offer this opportunity with introductory dives of 15-20 minutes. In a depth of only 4-5 meters it is like being in an aquarium and you can enjoy the beautiful world of the coral reefs. This service is offered on a one-to-one basis of one guest and one diving instructor.
We also offer advanced courses up to SSI Divecon, CMAS Gold and PADI Divemaster, as well as different specialty courses and nitrox diving. All specialty courses will be trained and certified after the regulations of SSI, i.a.c., or PADI.
