“The Oasis” is an intimate, appealing, comfortable hotel for divers and for those seeking tranquility. It is situated on a long beach just 20 km north of Marsa Alam. Very few places in Egypt offer the quiet and relaxation you can enjoy here.
The resort impresses with its unique architecture, the intimate ambience and air of tranquility. The hotel was built on a large parcel of land, far enough from the road, so as not to be disturbed by traffic noise.
The 50 individually designed chalets are arranged around the main building in the shape of a Nubian village, with narrow alleyways and winding steps of fossilized coral stone.
The especially beautiful ambience, conjured up by the dimmed floor lighting, captivates the guests as they enter the reception area. The view from the terrace of the main building is stunningly beautiful.
The resort is at a distance of about 25 minutes drive away from the international airport Marsa Alam. The international airport Hurghada lies 270 km to the north of “The Oasis”. The transfer takes around 3 hours on good roads along the beautiful coast of the Red Sea.
If you are arriving from a boat safari we are happy to arrange the transfer from/to Port Ghalib or other harbours.
If you pre-booked a transfer with us our tour guide will supply you with the Visa for Egypt (25,00 USD) once you arrived at passport control. A bottle of water will be provided for refreshment. The distance to the Resort is only a 25 minute drive from the international airport Marsa Alam.
The reception, the restaurant, the offices and the Diving Center are located in the main building. There is a small bazaar where you can buy small items and typical Egyptian souvenirs just next to the Diving Center.
A further highlight in the resort is the large and deep pool (making it perfect for diving instruction). Whilst relaxing in this pool, you are also rewarded with a terrific view of the sea.

The 50 spacious and individually decorated chalets are built with natural materials in Nubian style with much care and attention to detail. Each of these chalets is unique, with an individual floor plan. Varying stylish elements and colours influence the very tastefully decorated rooms. There is also an unrestricted and breathtaking view of the sea from the terrace of every chalet!
All chalets consist of a main room, a spacious bathroom with a shower and toilet, water heated by solar power and several 220 volt power outlets.
Ceiling fans and air conditioning have also been installed to supply additional cool air during warmer nights. A mini-bar is also present in all chalets. Rooms are available with either single or double beds (respectively two separate single beds – “twin”).
The great quality of the meals in “The Oasis” and the special concept of the resort are worth mentioning. Early in the morning the air is filled with the wonderful scent of freshly baked bread.
Breakfast and evening meal are served as elaborate buffets. Additionally a large variety of “a-la-carte” meals are always available in the restaurant.
Whether you prefer vegetarian, fish or meat dishes, in “The Oasis” there are great meals for all tastes!

We have chosen the most beautiful spot in the resort to offer our yoga classes. Directly at the pool with a view of the Red Sea and the reef, we created a 130 m², sun-drenched room for our yoga classes.
We offer yoga classes every morning in this top location several times a week when a yoga teacher is on-site.
A large pool with breathtaking views of the Red Sea is one of the many hotel features. Sun loungers with large sun shades offer shady spots for relaxation. Whilst relaxing in this pool, you are also rewarded with a terrific view of the sea.
Apart from massages, further special relaxation programs as well as reflexology are offered.
The wellness area is located behind the palm grove.
Of course, there is also a small bazaar in the facility where you can buy typical Egyptian souvenirs.
