At Sinai Divers Backpackers, we offer daily diving trips by jeep to the famous and fantastic dive sites around Dahab, including The Canyon, Eel Garden, Bells, Blue Hole, The Islands, and Um Sid, just to name a few. 
Small groups are accompanied by our experienced and multi-lingual dive guides, who ensure that you will enjoy a relaxed day and have a wonderful diving experience. 
The Backpacker house reef is called ”Bannerfish Bay”. The site is named after the large resident school of Bannerfish that can be found patrolling in mid-water. This dive offers an exciting combination of seagrass, sand patches, and coral blocks with a sloping reef profile and presents an ideal habitat for a wide range of marine life. Species commonly found here include lionfish, octopus, moray eels, anemone fish, triggerfish, different kinds of cleaner shrimp, and pipefish. 
Close by are a couple of beautiful dive sites, ”The Lighthouse” and ”Mashraba” are just a few minutes of walking distance from our Dive Center. It is also the best place in Dahab to encounter sea horses regularly. All this makes ”Bannerfish Bay” an excellent dive site for beginners, experienced divers, photographers, and macro lovers. 
In addition to shore dives, we offer boat diving with our custom-built boat, the “Ghazala VI”. We can also arrange night dives for you, as well as excursions to Sharm el Sheikh (travelling there by coach) where you can dive in the Straits of Tiran or in the Ras Mohammed National Park. 
We offer daily dive trips by jeep to the amazing dive sites, including The Canyon, Eel Garden, Bells, Blue Hole, The Islands, Um Sid and many more. We especially enjoy introducing our customers to the less well-known dive sites, such as Abu Helal, Sha’ab Said, Tiger House, and El Shugarat. 
Several times a week, we head South with our fast and comfortable dive boat ”Ghazala VI” to dive the pristine dive sites surrounding Gabr el Bint in the marine protectorate of Nabq. 
Apart from our daily diving trips, we can also arrange tours for families and snorkelers. Thanks to the Red Sea’s crystal clear water, the gentle waves, and a lack of strong currents, snorkelling is fun for water lovers of all ages. With their remarkable underwater sea life, the amazing coral reefs are fantastic to explore and enjoy from the surface. Most of the diving and snorkelling sites are accessible from land, but don t miss out on a day trip with our boat Ghazala 6 to the pristine and beautiful dive and snorkel sites at Gabr el Bint.

We can arrange transfers for divers staying in other Hotels in or outside Masbat Bay. The meeting point for all guests is the Diving Center.
The counter, classrooms as well as a workshop are located here. The guest equipment area includes individual lockers and a lockable dry room where you can store your personal equipment safely. The showers are warm and close to this area.
There are two big rinsing pools at the Dive Center. One is separated, especially for your regulators and camera gear, and another one is for cleaning the rest of your equipment. Taking proper care of your scuba gear after each and every dive is crucial if you want to keep your equipment in great shape for the years to come.
