Marsa Alam
Marsa Alam is located in the less touristically developed south of the Egyptian mainland, 270 km south of Hurghada. Over the last two decades, it has developed from a small coastal village with just a handful of small stone huts into a small town. Its importance lies in its location on the main coastal thoroughfare, at the main crossroads to Edfu in the Nile Valley and in the recent growth in tourism.
Marsa Alam is now even easier to reach thanks to the new airport, which is served by flights from several European countries.
The Oasis Dive Resort is located 20 km north of Marsa Alam on a private beach that stretches along the Red Sea coast.
Well-known dive spots such as Elphinstone, Dolphin House and Abbu Dabbab are part of our diving area as well as all the local reefs and bays. Apart from all the small creatures which can be seen there, these reefs are always good for a surprise. Dugongs, dolphins, eagle rays, manta rays and sharks – anything is possible. Beautiful diving in a relaxed atmosphere far away from the crowds distinguishes “The Oasis”!
We collect you from most hotels in the Marsa Alam region and take you back to your hotel after your dive trip.
